Dear Friends and Partners of Centro Latino,
On behalf of the Board of Directors of Centro Latino, I am writing to extend a warm invitation to an exhibition we are proud to present this September.
Over the course of a three-day collaborative workshop, a group of Latina women living in Calgary came together to create a collective work of art reflecting on what it means to belong in this city. The exhibition is the culmination of a research project, Everyday Pedagogies of Belonging: Finding One's Way Through Multicultural Integration in Calgary, led by Laura Montes de Oca (Department of Sociology) and Verónica Briseño (School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape), and carried out in partnership with Centro Latino.
