La misión de Casa México in Alberta Foundation es construir un espacio físico y virtual diseñado para crear y promover programas y actividades que generen un mejor entendimiento y conocimiento de México y Latin America entre los Canadienses. Casa México de igual forma fomenta la preservación de la identidad Mexicana y la integración a la sociedad Canadiense de los Mexicanos que viven en la región de Alberta creando un espacio para mostrar sus talentos y contribuciones. Casa México quiere ser un gran espacio cultural para celebrar, de crear, de discutir, de sentirse integrados, de exhibir, de presentar, de hablar, y de aprender mas sobre diversos aspectos relacionados con México y Latin America.

Casa Mexico in Alberta Foundation mission is to build a physical and virtual space designed to create and promote all type of programs and activities to generate awareness, knowledge and better understanding of Mexico and Latin America. Casa Mexico also fosters the preservation of the Mexican identity and the integration and sense of dual belonging among Mexican-Canadians living in Alberta while creating a space to showcase their talents and contributions. Casa Mexico wants to be a cultural space to celebrate, to create, to discuss, to be integrated, to exhibit, to perform, to speak, to listen and to learn about diverse aspects related to Mexico and Latin America.
Who we are?
Casa Mexico in Alberta Foundation is a not-for-profit society established in April 2009 with the main purpose of creating virtual and physical spaces for the advancement and integration of Mexicans living in Alberta into the Canadian society and for the celebration of Mexican identity. Casa Mexico in Alberta Foundation promotes programs and activities for the Alberta community in order to generate more informed awareness and an overall better understanding of Mexico and the contributions of the Mexicans living in Alberta, while generating in them a sense of multicultural belonging. The Foundation is directed by a Board of Directors that are committed to the fulfillment of the stated vision and mission of the Foundation. Directors are invited based on their previous experience working in community projects and professional experience in different areas including culture, education, business and corporate governance, etc.
